Fathomonline reports that keywords have taken a dive in the first quarter of 2006. The average keyword bid now is $1.39, down from $1.43 at the end of 2005. […] Not long ago, I wrote about the cost of keywords being on the decline. I’m seeing a seasonal spike in tourism-related keyword costs. I think this is due to the end of the summer travel season - fewer people are looking for vacation-related places and prices and tourism advertisers are ratcheting up their bids to compensate.
